Meet Thuy
I’m a Balanced Body comprehensive pilates instructor, receiving my formal certification after completing over 600 hours of rigorous study and student teaching.
My movement journey is rooted in dance. I began studying ballet at the age of six and continued training and performing with renowned teachers including Kristine Elliot, Muriel Maffre, Diane Frank, and Robert Moses. I was introduced to classical pilates in my teens as a way to support my ballet training, and I’ve remained a student of pilates ever since.
In addition to my dance background, I hold a B.A. in Economics, with honors, from Stanford University, and have spent 10+ years in the tech industry working at some of Silicon Valley’s highest growth startups. I know firsthand how much of a toll desk work, screens, and long commutes can take on the body and mind.
I work with clients who want to move with ease and strength, whether that means rehabilitating after injury, developing better mind-body awareness, or simply carving out time to feel good in their bodies. My teaching style blends precision with play and I design challenging, yet thoughtful classes to help clients feel like the best version of themselves.
